is anyone doing an apple cider drink regiment? and if so... how's that working for you?

I will have a tablespoon of Braggs apple cider vinegar (has the "Mother" in it) in a tall glass of cold water after I have my first glass of plain cold water and cup of black coffee. I do this most days. I find it very refreshing to start the day. I have read good articles on doing this and one bad. I think it helps me cut down on my food intake. I am thinking about doing another tablespoon after a higher carb meal.

I read that 2 tablespoons of acv and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda (not powder) in a cup of water each morning helps with reducing belly fat with proper diet and exercise, but I'm skeptical about it cas ' I've never heard of any success stories

I am. It supposedly helps burn fat and suppresses appetite. I figure it can't hurt.

I haven't heard of or read about the baking soda being added. Where did you see that?

I bought into this a year ago or so. Makes me happy to realize this kind of stuff is far behind. Can share I see it as a way to increase stomach acid, that is vital for breaking down protein and minerals. It can help people who by some reason or the other have gone wrong with seeking alkalinity, and end up with poor closure of stomach, resulting in acid reflux. Increasing acidity, help remove the poor closure of the stomach, and can help with better absorption of vital minerals and proteins. I have since learned that raw salts, contain a lot of Chloride, that helps with the body's production of hydrochloric acid, that is far superior to vinergar acids. Salt has become my good friend, and I no longer need to stress the body with drinking acid.

I have been doing it daily for about 9 months. It has made my acid reflux disappear. I was taking Prilosec daily for a couple years and haven’t since I started. I’ve been losing weight but I can’t say its due to the ACV. I’ve implemented lots of changes. It can be an appetite suppressant for me. But it doesn’t suppress for long periods of time. They say to drink it 30 mins before you eat. I do it once in the morning. 3 tables spoons ACV 3 tablespoons water with cinnamon and ginger sprinkled in. It’s cheaper than Prilosec if nothing else.

I used to do the vinegar with a little garlic added; boy did my breath stink. I recently ate some sweet pickles and had total reduction of knee pain, so I googled and it was the brine in the pickles that helped. I bought the Bragg's vinegar again and tried it (minus the garlic) but it doesn't help the same way the pickles do. So... I'll make salad dressing out of it. If it helps you, then it works, right? If it doesn't, then it's not for you.
