I gained a pound I'm dying inside a little bit I don't know if I'm starting to gain weight again I hope it's just water weight I feel like I've come so far from 300 lb to then 211 and now I went up to 212 I'm just so worried about going in the wrong direction I didn't log my weight in because that's an admission of defeat

the number is just data. it does not define you. it is a data point. that's all. it could be hormones, too much salt, etc. if it becomes a pattern, then you know something isn't working and you tweak it. very important to log your weight so you know what works for you and your body. also good to log your mood, energy, sleep, etc. it's not just about weight. overall health and vitality is the goal!

BTW, the "I've blown it" thinking is diet mentality. It isn't possible to blow a lifestyle..or "cheat" on yourself. :-)
