It’s been recommended to me that losing slowly is better. Easier on us with not restricting food and calories so much, slowly build up the exercise (which would be good for you if I remember correctly that you are disabled?) and the skin can shrink some at the slower rate of weight loss. Muscle takes up less space than fat however once the fat is gone replacing that empty space under loose skin with muscle will help fill it out. Until you find a surgeon, ask your dr about an abdominal binder. After surgery I had one. I was at 1200-1300 calories then which is just about My BMR. After surgery (fat grafting for reconstruction) I ended up losing like 2# that week for a total of 4-5 that month. The binder helped the skin shrink and didn’t allow the swelling from surgery stretch me out too much. I’m not sure if it would help after so much weight has already been lost but it can’t hurt to ask ;). I got mine on Amazon for $15.
