Ending week 5: TOM came yesterday 5 days early..no surprise since diets tend to mess with my hormones. Im not weighing in til next week though. I took 2 nights off from atkins; I said I wouldnt, but I did. I thoroughly enjoyed my time off without regrets. Life is too short! Im back on track today and should be back into ketosis tomorrow or Sunday. I have read that sometimes a day or two off every 5-6 weeks or so is good psychologically for many people. I am one of them.

If that works for you, go for it. I think as long as you can get right back on the plan, then enjoy a cheat day every month or month-and-a-half. Right now they don't work for me because they set me back too much but I plan to have occasional off days when I reach goal.
