Well thanks for the encouragement.
I still am at the same weight today.
I am okay with that this week.
Next week I will really work hard on the adkins.
I did it about 5 years ago and lost 30# in one month.
My downfall though is that I could truely live on carbs.
I love them.
But.....I know they are my problem.
I have at least given up Mountain Dew! And that was my true addiction in life.
About a month ago I tried this:
Following the food pyramid strictly except eating much less carbs than recommended.
I lost a few pounds that way.
Once I start to loose on the adkins I will switch back to following just a balanced diet.
And making sure that I drink the whole 64oz of H2O every day.

As far as exercise, I am proud of myself.
I am going to the Y one-two times a week to play raquetteball. It's a rough hour! But it burns about 980 calories.
Then I do the treadmill 30 min a day. And I've been working on tightening my belly and strengthening my back.

Commentaires 
Atkins is a balanced diet, have you read up on the maintenance plan? The USDA guidelines are out of date. They haven't caught up to the science yet. I suggest you re-read the Atkins book because you can eat good carbs on Atkins, but it teaches you how to work up to the level you can tolerate without gaining.
