Good morning everyone☀️ Happy Friday!
Things are going ok here on the home front. Still tweaking medications for my son. Hoping to get a break from this process soon. We go through this multiple times a year as he grows and behaviors change. But aggression is a part of his condition, so that’s something that is a possibility for each day. I have found that CBD oil really helps me when my anxiety becomes overwhelming. 33 calories per dropper full👍🏼 Now I am gearing up this morning to head to the Rocky Mountain National Park area for my 10 yr anniversary with my husband. Super excited to celebrate🎉 I am planning on just going to maintenance amounts of calories, and eating OMAD. We will hopefully be hiking and walking around a lot🤞🏻.

The kiddos will be with us for this trip, so I need to lower my expectations a lot to keep my balance. I am going to do my best to appreciate each moment for what is❤️

You have the right attitude. Raising a child with behavioral issues is so difficult. As a former special education teacher, I wish I could have had more parents like you. You are doing a fabulous job: taking care of yourself, husband, and your family.

Erquiaga, thank you so much for your comment, I really needed to hear that❤️ All too often I feel like people may think I am doing a terrible job because he is so difficult, but in fact I have to do so much more than the average parent. Therapy, insurance issues, behavioral interventions at home, med management, emergency plans, and being there to help him everyday because he struggles with executive functioning. Special education teachers have been some of my favorite people in this life😍

chrisw77 Thank you! I have been able to relax a bit and have worked out twice since arriving. It’s awesome to be back at it💪🏼 Even lifting 3lb weights to build back up my strength lol. Hope you’re having a good weekend!
