FRIENDS!

My eating has gotten WAY out of control. I seriously believe that I have a food addiction.

I want to be happy and healthy this summer.

I have dreams of a sexy, (but modest) 2 piece swimsuit.

PLEASE HELP ME GET IT TOGETHER! PLEASE.

Put down the chocolate or cookie or crisps! Now just forget you have had a few bad days, thats done and dusted! In the past! Start afresh from now - not tomorrow or next week, now! Promise yourself you can do this and that you are so worth it!! Little steps little changes, remind yourself why you want to do this, read some of the journals here to re motivate your self. find an exercise that you like and enjoy then go for it! Im walking and have signed up for a charity walk and boy is that keeping me going....... Good luck and remember - this is your life, you are in control and you can do this!!!!!

I agree. Start today. Don't look back. Come here more often for uplifting advice. You have accomplished so much in your life, this is going to be your next big success. I know you can do it! :)

Be sure to journal your emotions in addition to your food. Sometimes emotions fuel your need to compensate with food. Just doing this for a few days helped me see the light and get back on the program.

Get rid of all the "bad" food in your house. GIve it to a friend or relative (I have a hard time "wasting food). It helps not to be tempted. Get something you can munch on that is on your diet for those weak moments. Hang in there girl- YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! Find something to do when food whispers in your ear. A good book is "Change One" it takes you through 12 weeks of 1 change a week to get your life in order. For me: I pray alot, sometimes I can't do it on my own. We all need help at one time or another.

Deal with one day at a time. Stick to the plan. Take advantage of the variety of "allowable" foods-if the food gets boring, try a new low-carb recipe, life gets boring try a physical activity. At least that's what keep telling myself. so fsr, so good, the down times are few and far between.
