June Gloom

That's what we call it here when the marine layer shrouds the sun. Today it is a beautiful day and I am stuck in June gloom. June gloom of the soul.

I did drag self out of bed by 9am and after a leisurely surf on the internet of disco news, struggled into clothes and took myself off to work. I did run off and on (about 1 mile) and am pleased to report no hip pain. Perhaps getting back to running will help my mood improve.

Did not weigh in this morning-self preservation kicked in....
