Forget about the past. Slow and steady wins the race. It has taken me since mid October to lose over 23 pounds. But I wouldn't go back! No matter how slow the going down goes think about how next week the weight will triple loss. (Say if it was half a pound). If you stick with it the diet has a way of plateauing but then suddenly there are breakthrough weeks! I've only lost an average of about 1 pound per week. But that is better than gaining that. That is over fifty pounds in a year - think about it in those terms when you're chronically tempted to cheat over and over again. You CAN do it. If I can and I'm on medicine that causes weight gain - anybody can lose weight on this diet! Go for it! :)
