I was doing so well and now not so good. This seems to be the way it always goes. I start out gang busters and then just plain stop.

This last week I skipped two work outs. One day it was because I had laser surgery on my eye and couldn't see well. But I could have done it the next day, but didn't. Then I stopped drinking my water everyday and went back to soda. At least it's diet, but still I should have stayed on the water.

As a result I didn't lose as much as I would have liked. But that also seems to be a problem of mine. I have these expectations that are way to high, and then when I don't meet them I get frustrated and give up.

I have to remember that I can't and won't be able to lose 20 pounds in two weeks. It's going to take time and effort and at some point, I will get to the weight I want to be at.

Not working out while you were recovering from eye surgery was probably a good idea. Don't be so hard on yourself. Just remember - we didn't put it on in two weeks so how are we meant to take it off in two weeks? You can do it. It's just a bump in the road.
