Journal de graciepoo, 03 avr. 08

WEll, phase one only lasted a day. Although I did not eat phase 1, my diet today was not bad, cheerios for b-fast, turkey sand. on ww bread for lunch and a 6" subway on wheat for dinner. so all in all, not a bad day, just not as strict as I had hoped. But life happens, my baby is sick, life is chaotic, and I am just taking things as they come. my scale was down this morning though, so that is encouraging. 10 more days until vacation!!

Good Girl! You are one busy woman. You are so right, "life happens" so we need to learn to roll with the punches and do the best we can with our new attitude and health plans day by day. Thinking of ya!

I'm telling you something hapens right before a vacation. keep up the good work- small good choices add up to great losses over time. It's tough to make good choices when the world around you is chaotic!!!

Down even tho not on phase 1????? GREAT!!! I was on phase 1 for 1/2 a day and then gave it up; I don't think I can ever do that, give up those good carbs; I hope to do it with eating good carbs, and not cheating....I'm motivated that you are able to do it!

Gracie, you are doing great! you must be doing something right if the numbers are going down. Maybe you don't need phase 1!

It is hard to stay focused when life gets in the way of our healthy lifestyle goals! I can see how dedicated and committed you are to your new healthy lifestyle - you will hit your next goal in no time, spring is just what we need to get out and get active - I am sure the kids will keep you moving outside!

You're doing a good job, Graciepoo. Scale down is good, of course. :) But, the more important thing is keeping up the healthy habits that you've built up during the past year. Phase 1 is pretty extreme in some ways-- I always got these crazy tired spells and headaches and stuff. And after a year, honestly, I think a strict phase 1 is kind of hard to muster the enthusiasm for. The most important thing is finding what works for you at this point, no lamenting about past choices! You're doing a great job. :)
