when my printer bit the dust several months ago i hesitated, but did some online research and decided to get a all in one printer...cuts down on desk space...and along with my laptop, takes up less room..just a thought for you as you decide which way to go...have a greattttttttttt day  

I agree with loosin,' the multifunction printers are very convenient. I have an old HP 3380 laser (available used cheap?) which has always worked like a charm for me (heavy use) and is very economical since it is black and white and the toner is much cheaper than the ink jet cartridges. Craigslist is often a good source for these things. I see you recorded your calories. That one number is possibly the most important. Have a great weekend my friend! :-) 

I find the Shirataki where they have Tofu products. In my store, Publix, it is near the organic foods in a cooler. It comes in a small clear bag full of water-like stuff. You can see the noodles thru the bag. Is is kept cold, but not frozen. Maybe ask the Manager where they keep their Tofu products. Be sure to go to a large food chain store, not a local small grocery. I have a multifunction printer. It copies, faxes and scans. But the downside is it uses the ink jet cartridges and like Info said, they are quite expensive. Upside is the little space they take up and we can print color. It's all to do with what you need it for. How are you figuring your calories? Enjoy the weekend Glenn and happy calorie counting :-) 

Thanks for the shirataki. I know where tofu is I have eaten it before. My friend Doug from work told me to get a printer with a 'tank' not a cartridge because the cost is ridiculous to replace the cartridges. And he also said to get a laser jet printer NEW so I don't have problems and if I do I can take it back within like 90 days. He also said that they're not that expensive so I can get one this week. I just need somebody to take me, maybe Bruce on Monday or Tuesday. I'm keeping track of calories on paper - Saturday was an over 3500 calorie day! Yikes! It was because I had beer and a casserole dish meal at my neighbor Mike's place with other neighbors. I will fast probably weekly one day a week, but this Sunday may pass and do it another day of the week. I am taking life differently now. I am enjoying the writing more and realizing it is my life's purpose and I am so blessed it is, even the miserable weather at times (rain), going to the cafe to write, walking and biking when I can do it though my leg has been out of working order the past week, the funny dog I own, work, friends - I really have more than I realized, enjoying food and trying not to overeat :), and realizing that everything is meant to be the way it is and to try to not let negativity take over my life - I don't have to let it if I don't want to... 

Never let negativity in at all, when it comes knocking just change your focus to something else, preferably productive. The laser printers are the best by far imho although I understand that some of the ink jets have come a long way. I am not too up to date with printers these days so take what I say with a grain of salt. I too had a Very High Day yesterday which happens when I'm around temptation for too long.
