I started to grind onions, tomatoes and green chilies into a fine paste and fried that in oil for a few minutes - then I added ginger paste and garlic paste, garam masala, cumin, coriander and harissa (as a substitute for chili paste) and baked that for awhile
In the meantime I brought water to the boil for the Basmati rice and added a glass of sherry to it - on low heat I let that cook for 12 minutes while at the last 5 minutes I added a cup of green peas to it
In the other pan I added a whole can of coconutmilk and a little salt and let that cook for awhile before adding the prawns - they are done very quickly so after a few minutes you can turn down the heat and add a little bit of cream to the dish
The rice and peas could be drained by now and I finish both rice and the curry with freshly coriander leaves
