Anyone that spends 2+ hours weightlifting in a day, I need some advice...

Do you pick a few exercises and do a million sets or a million exercises for a few sets each? (Gym OCD or gym ADD?)

Is there a heavier focus on one/two muscle group(s) or just full-body each day if I'm hitting weights 4 days with a midweek cardio blast?

Do you want to build muscles or strength? Of muscles, lots of sets! If strength, max out and do reps until exhaustion!

I warm up on treadmill for 1-2 miles. Right now have been doing 5x15 of 6-10 exercises split into 2 supersets. I end it with 2 or 3 sets of 10-15 of lighter exercises.. Like chest flys, 21's, etc..

I hit all muscle groups and do some jumping Jacks in between to keep my hr over 100. I do the highest weight I can without a spotter 15x.

Pretty much. I've only done super sets this past year because I'm trying to fit as much in as little time as possible.

But I'm just trying to burn my fat off and maintain muscle mass. I did 5x5's for a while last year and before that 3x10-12s. I like to mix it up.

You do more homework than me. I was doing back/biceps, chest/shoulders, & legs/abs. Just don't make it to the gym enough and I almost never get sore so I thought why the hell not do full body..

What I mean is you'll do fine..just don't stress and do your measurement 💪🏻

I like to do many exercises and jump out of my comfort zone also. Reverse curls, alternate bench/decline /incline, trap shrugs, bus drivers, land mines, plate squeezes for chest and so on..

I usually stick to compound lifts. If I have time after exhausting myself with heavy movements, I'll do some isolation movements. I was never into having an arm day for example. I'll do them after completing back and chest or chest and shoulders.

I see so many people go in and stick to just arms when they are rail thin or obese. Work on the large muscles people.

Yeah, I always see dudes just working arms for an hour over and over. They may have biceps but nothing else. Real chicken legs too.

Yes! Large muscle groups to small. Squats before leg extensions. Bench before curls.

That's why we say yes to heavy compounds lifts and no to cardio. :D
