There are different approaches to the weight management - some say that you should not weigh yourself every day, but maybe once a week; others say that it is better to weigh every morning at the same time right after you wake up.

I belong to the second group, as monitoring the weight for me is just a tool to see how my body reacts to the changes in diet, carbs increase\decrease, food intake timing and types of food I consume.

The weight may jump back and forth, mainly due to the water retention (providing there is an honest calorie count in place that maintains the deficit). It is different for everybody, some foods may cause water retention to one person, but not to the other. For example if I eat some cheese in the evening, even within my carbs intake, it may cause "the flood" - some weight increase due to water retention.

So weighting yourself everyday is not paranoid, it is just a tool to monitor body reaction. Successful long term dieting is not afraid of scales! It is just a tool.

Like the post! I must say, not quite sure how tall you are, but each pic you post (which are great by the way), looks as if you have some long shapely legs! Perhaps even the outfits that portray them...?!?!? Anyhow, keep up the good work, you look fantastic ;)
