Doing well. The weather is still southern Georgia or Texas hot. Today about 98*, the Weather Channel site said Westfield, MA, nearby got to 103* yesterday. Add the humidity too... Anyway, I had a glass of wine this evening. I did great otherwise, less calories and lower carbs with the low carb bread. I feel 'lighter' and that is good. I am going back to all low carb stuff like the pasta if it is ever on sale again. A woman contacted me on the dating site, she liked my profile. She is in my town, which is good and is an intellectual type too, and I like that. I messaged her back and will take it from there. Bruce was right saying my earlier profile had way too much stuff on it. Anyway, the writing is going well. An appointment tomorrow. I bought a few nice plants in the past two days that are medium floor plants and they make the apartment look nicer. It is great that I have an awesome pair of sandals, I recommend them to anyone. No socks needed and a lot less laundry. I will wear them until late autumn!

Both sisters went to my aunt who is a nun at the beach house she gets. No one invited me. It is like I don't exist to these people. My BIL hasn't been here for five months to help with the computer thankfully a neighbor's young adult son has been helping me to set up my books to send out. I haven't seen either sister or parent since last year at Christmas. Maybe this year I'll say I haven't seen you all year (except my BIL and maybe my sister in a week or two when she drops off CDs she's burned) so I definitely need to cut these people out of my life. No one would take care of my dog if I wanted to go to the beach anyway. I am so ready to get away from all of these relatives and have been for years now. If I get published I will go back to Hawaii I think, I met women there who weren't all wrapped up about money and if I have it then OK. Something tells me my books are so unique I will be known long after I am gone and that is one reason my 'energy' is not generating success now. Many successful people no one knows who they were a year after they are gone... Anyway, at least I know my relatives have little regard for me...

Glenn, from what I read...seems like it's THEIR loss not including you in family times...perhaps you should approach your aunt and let her know your feelings are hurt at the lack of an invitation...even if you couldnt' go...it would have been nice to be asked - unless of course, it was an *all girls weekend!*...I'm excited to read your first published book!!!! It will happen...be persistent...if one publisher isn't interested - doesn't mean another won't be...!! Thanks drd3775, my younger sister went with her husband and her daughter on the long weekend. Then my other sister went with her husband, she is my twin. But my niece said my twin sister needed to get away for peace and quiet - she is a day care provider. I am estranged from my younger sister, I felt quite close to her until three years ago, now she is more distant than a third cousin. The evening my third great nephew Noah was born three years ago this month was the last time I had phone contact with her, she changed her number after that. Anyway, I will get more persistent with sending my writing work out. By year's end I hope to have five books done for submission and in the meantime working to get the two done now published and the other three that are well on their way to being done finished. I'll get on your journal if I stay up into the wee hours; if not then tomorrow...
