Well, yesterday was a good day in an odd sort of way! One of my aunts (the 90 yr old) is doing better - health wise! She has been receiving Iron treatments, and her energy level and strength is returning, and she is up and about, and living life!
The other Aunt (nearly 80) - well, she has an enlarged spleen. And is going to meet w/ a surgeon about whether she can or cannot w/stand the surgery to have it removed.
My mom is totally enjoying her visit w/ these ladies - although she can barely remember from one day to the next, one minute to the next - she has sooooo many long term memories w/ these chicks that she has been talking up a storm.
pls pray for the Aunt that needs surgery - we are hoping they can do it, and that she will recover easily. (she is very fearful, and has basically said she would rather let it burst inside her than go through surgery). Hoping to change her mind about that one.
