Still in the 118 range..I was afraid I might have gained since I barely exercised over the weekend, and had a lot of junk and salty food. But I am not in any challenges anymore so I am a little more relaxed about those little Zero-point-something gains, becausde they are always temporary and no big deal. Sunday morning it had gone up a smidgeon, after having a late dinner of salty oven-baked bass, but it's back to where it was now.
I had a good Mother's day, how about all of you moms out there?
My husband said he was going to go to church with me but backed out at the last minute so I was a little disappointed in that, but when I got home he had gotten me a bouquet of flowers and a card, which was very sweet. We really didn't have the money to eat out, and by the time I fixed him some lunch(he's helpless! LOL if I don't take the initiatve he will eat chips and dip for lunch on the weekends!)
and Kaelyn's lunch I was starving..and weak to temptation, LOL! I had, you guessed it,
Brownies and ice cream for lunch! REAL ice cream, cookies and cream kind. Not premium but regular, just 1/2 cup with a lowfat brownie sprinkled with some fiber one, which I mixed with 1/2 tbp of reduced fat pb! A weird luch and not too healthy. I wasn't too happy with myself a couple hours later when I started getting hungry and I'd already spent most of my calories..but oh well. I went a little higher on calories two days in a row, but it didn't affect the scale.
In the past I would have used Mother's day as an excuse to binge all day on as big of quantities of ice cream, candy, etc.
But those days are over! It is possible to indulge DAILY and maintain/lose weight and never ever feel food guilt. Food guilt is ridiculous. I remember one time Brandon came home and caught me crying at the table. I didn't want to tell I was crying because I had just eaten a huge peanut butter and jelly sandwich! How CRAZY was I? I never want to go back to those days. I beleive I have found the answer to weight happiness and although I may seem a bit obssessed over calories at times, I know I have come a long way mentally from where I was a year ago.
Too many guys were talking to me at Walmart, it was weird. I was like, "Brandon, protect me!!" LOL. Not used to all that attention. i am not trying to brag in any way. I guess wearing clothes that fit instead of that are sagging to the floor might help a little, lol!
Well, anyways, it should be a nice day today, i the 70's. It is a little chilly right now though. I am glad it is not as humid, I hate that! I gotta work out bunches today to stay on track!

So glad to see you are feeling accomplished because you certainly should! I find myself getting checked out in the grocery store too now and though it makes me feel thinner I wonder if this is what I brought upon myself, lol. They just don;t seem to care if you are wearing a ring or not! Maybe we are just walking with more confidence now??? At least we know we're sexy :)

What is the secret to getting over the food guilt? You sound soo healthy with your body and your mind! In the past, I too would have used monther's day as an excuse to eat, but I talked my family into Applebee's where I could eat a salad instead of Olive Garden where I would have been tempted to eat pasta. I didn't even eat dessert yesterday!!! I have been reading the info on the website you gave me non-stop!!! I am soo excited to try your method. You are doing so well. Keep up the great work!!!

I had 3 brownies left and I finally just tossed em! Enough is enough lol! now what shall I do with those lowfat cupcakes in the freezer...hmmm..:)
