Up a tad today, probably from popcorn or chocolate snack last night!

Dinner last night was chicken spaghetti, probably had a bit too much of that. Added a splash of butter too. It was good.

I spilled cayenne pepper in my popcorn, actually I took the shaker lid off and dumped it in my popcorn. It was funny, and probably ended up saving me some calories cuz it was so hot I could not eat it. I had some FF yogurt after to try to cool the fire down.

Last night was windy as heck, so I only rode 30 minutes. The power meter thingy on Strava is certainly not good for factoring wind. I guess when your HR is high, and your speed is low, it ASSumes your just wildly out of shape. fml. Anyway, it thought I was powerFULL! when I was coming home with the wind and going fast. Meh, too much data. lol

While I was disappointed that ride was only 30 minutes, I remember last may when starting out, that ride used to take me well over 40 minutes, and was a huge effort.

Work is wicked busy as we have another inspection in February. A few things need to get hammered out. It is going pretty good and keeping me busy. That keeps my away from schoolwork which starts next Monday. I could be doing some CLEP/DSST tests, but that has to wait or I have to get motivated after work (thats bike riding time!).

JP, your popcorn reminds me of mine! I have a home made Bhut Jolokia oil (10 peppers crushed to powder, soaking in oil for ages!) and I use that half-n-half with regular oil when I do popcorn. It tastes über delish and as you say - it's so hot you won't have a whole ton. Highly recommended. :)

Also, both you and I are on the featured members page today! :) I took a screen dump, but can't do much with it here at work.

I actually was thinking of you, I want to make spicy oil again. I wish I could get those peppers here too, its not right, we're close to India! I can get Japapenos, Scotch Bonnet (Habenero) and Red Chili all day long. I want to make some pepper oil! I made some by accident by roasting Jalapeno's in oil with our other veggies. Anyway, I want to do it! I get popcorn spices from Kernel Seasonings (the kids love the cheese), and they have a new bacon cheddar that when combined with pepper is really freaking good. Kernel Seasonings is a great company btw, they always send me free stuff when I order as they consider me military. Its quite nice.

Check out chileseeds.co.uk - they might have what you need. I shop here every now and then - and they don't disappoint. Check out their 10 minut or 15 minute burn hot sauce. You will NEVER find anything more deadly than this. lol. Oh, and the flavor of it, once you regain consciousness, is amazing.

Mmm I forgot about popcorn.. thanks for the reminder. I'm usually looking for sweet snacks so I grab the 100 calorie kettle corn bags and sprinkle some cinnamon on it, soooo good! The peppery stuff sounds WAY too hot!

Damn, y'all are making me a little hungry! LOL Too bad about your workout being cut short, but MAN, the progress you can make in a year! Great going, JP!! Keld, I think we're ALL gonna angle for that recipe to be put in your shared cookbook???

Your meals seem like such fun adventures, JP. I giggle through half of your entries and recollections of them. cayenne pepper, popcorn? Interesting. Sorry about the wind, but it does seem like you're getting faster, don't you think?
