I wasn't able to go on the walk with my friend today because our power went out last night due to a storm, and my son kept me up most of the night because he was so worried. Plus we had candles going, which makes me very nervous. I know she was disappointed but I didn't get to sleep until 5:00 am and had to get up at 6:00 if I were to go on the walk with her at 6:30 am. That's just a little much.

I like doing the walks with her but they are not the high intensity workouts that I am used to. I'm doing a friend a favor but my workouts are suffering because of our walks 4 days per week. This forces me to have to keep focusing on my diet which is going to be the ultimate source of my weight loss. I struggling not to be a selfish person because I know how much these walks mean to her.
