Journal de jsfantome, 12 janv. 13

Up early this morning. Must have slept funny, cause I woke w/ a 'crick' in my neck and a throbbing pain. You know, the kind where you can't turn your head to one side w/ out it hurting.

Took some Motrin...and it is feeling much better. Dare I go back to bed? Probably.

Went out for Mexican (my fav) last night. Yes, I did have some chips from the chip bowl w/ their yummy cheese dip... but then I had a salad (no shell) w/ steak, onion, peppers, guac, sour cream. And I only ate about 1/2.

Not sure how to guess at that for my food log.

Today will be a Curves morning... and an effort to keep up w/ my water. That makes such a difference in how I feel. Odd? Not sure I get that. But it does.

Will look thru some of the Induction Menu's on the Atkins site today, to see if I can conjure up some 'versions' that suit me. (I don't like using the .net carbs / artificial allowances they use) but I can always adapt something to suit my own likes/allowances anyway.

Had fish during the week (coated in egg and parmesean cheese, YUM!) but now I am in the mood for seafood again. Maybe scallops...if they weren't so darn expensive! Love them!!! But up here in the north, lobsters are cheap...maybe those!

All in all it was a good week. Went to Curves every other day...trying to work it out to go for a walk, or back over to planet fitness to fit in some Cardio on the opposite days. (I'm working on it...not overly successful...as I only got one of the opposite days fit in last week.) But I will keep trying.

I kinda feel like that sounds like an excuse - and on some level it probably is... but we all choose, don't we. One night I was about to leave for the gym...as hubby was coming in the door from work. We were home...alone...for the first time since Dec 14 when the youngest son had come in from College... well, I kicked my shoes off and stayed home. We exercised, just not the same way :)

So, yeah... I will try this week to fit it all in. One day at a time...I will work towards my better, leaner, fitter, firmer self!

So glad to be FS friends & looking forward to getting to know you better. You do sound happy & content, & it certainly sounds like you're doing all the right things & in moderation... esp the workout with your hubby, where theres no moderation needed! Have a great weekend!

Good attitude, life is for living and savouring. You enjoyed your Mexican food, even a few chips, just didn't overdo, and on with life, and you chose to spend time with DH when you could - again its life, things come up and we make choices. its all balance and will all work out in the end. Balance is the key I think but so hard to find. You are doing great. And sound like you are happy, hope you are, 'cause you deserve to be. Living life to the fullest as you always seem to do.

Hey, sounds like you are living life & dealing with it all well. We had parmesaned fish, (as we call it), Friday night, yummies. I don't know how you were able to have just a few chips at a mexican restaurant, awesome job!
