I'm down another pound. Since I started the meds, my body is responding as it should to my diet and exercise. What a relief!!

Today I ran off and left my friend on the trail a few times. I really had a lot of energy and I wanted to run, so I did. I can tell she's getting a little irritated with me but I need to maximize my time while I'm on the trail. A leisure stroll is not cutting it for me in the fitness department, especially since I have my butt out there at 6:00 am. I need to burn up some calories and break a sweat. I don't run far from her, I turn around and then I run back and then I walk with her for a while. I'm basically running intervals. I get a decent workout that way.

This is terrible but now since I know I can get up and out the house early in the morning, I can't wait until the days get shorter. When they do, I'm going to the gym first thing in the morning. Then I will be able to maximize my workout time by doing weights and cardio.

ETA: I need to clairify my previous post to say that I'm glad walk with my friend on the trail, I just need a harder workout, so I'm trying to find a way to both walk with her and get my workout needs met.
