Really battling over the last few days! Over-eating, too many carbs and sugary things AND I am feeling sorry for myself. Woke up this morning with a "why do I even bother" attitude... Not a good place to be mentally.
Then with some random reading, I saw the following from a friend:
"YOUR BODY IS NOT A GARBAGE CAN. It’s the home of your soul in this lifetime. Fuel it with whole and natural nourishment from Mother Earth. It will last longer and be healthier that way." (I need to pull myself towards myself and try harder! Only obstacle at the moment is myself.)

At least it seems you know you're being too hard on yourself. We all take steps back sometimes, but as long as you make your next step in the right direction that's all you need to and then just keep going. You can do it! You have a beautiful downward graph and I'm sure you'll get to that blue line soon! All the best!

Me Conwall you were being too hard on yourself. You are generally the most positive person here and always encouraging everyone. Take it easy on yourself we all have those off days.

Thank you so much!! Thank you Nikina70, Pmorebodi and Cupcake 8677. We all have those off days and need encouragement :) I am a very impatient person and maybe it is just hormones but this past week has been hard. And thank you for reminding me not to give up - I need people like you and the folks here to stay focused. And it helps to put my/our struggles out here for all to see: there is always encouragement. Thank you again, because I really need this today :)

Thank you Mevchamman and Lisa1905. It is funny how a bad day or bad week can turn into a negative mindset... And today I just crashed. This is so hard to keep looking forward. But you all remind me why I am doing this, that I have support here, and when I look back, with the progress I made, I can NOT give up. Thanks for all the inspiration and support. You all have helped me get my mind back in the game and you have no idea how much these words helped me today :)

Thanks for the invite Russ7412 and I am glad there is additional support because some days we really need it. I am going to pass on the WA group because I hate my phone on most days and the chime, chime, chime drives me insane. I ignore it for the most part of the day. (Its for me to call or text, not sure why people want/have to contact me. :) )

Don't worry we all fall off me most recently coming from the states have been on a carb-induced binge. But, for this past week I've been conscious about putting good food into my body. You'll be 💯 okay, start small and big changes will happen, you'll see. Best, Tracy

Don't be too hard on yourself, Ms Cornwall. We all have those days, I personally have been feeling like that for over a week now. I think it is all part of the journey. Let's pick ourselves up and continue. We can do this.

Small goals like limiting sugar will make you feel like you have so much more control. Mind over body is the hardest struggle, but it’s so worth the fight

Thank you all so much!! You have me on track and out of my funk today! Thank you so much for the advice and encouragement Lisa1905, TracySwain01, Akani_B, K8lh, Reshini :) I understand that if I want to be successful, I can't actually do this alone. Sharing my struggle with all of you has helped so thank you so much for caring. Back on track today and out to win this with all of you!! Again we start at Diet day 1 - and I am happy to do this.
