Ahh, the twists and turns life deals you. Just have to roll with it.
Since I am so awesome, they have asked for me to assist them in Naples Italy for a few weeks (another inspection). So I fly over there Sunday for two weeks. It will be busy, and fun filled. It will probably be bad for diet, and exercise.
But hey, who gets a chance to visit Italy and get paid, lol. So, I will try and do my best, and then "reboot" again when I return. Trying to be a good boy this weekend, while it lasts. It will be nice too to see old friends who have not seen me since I lost 60, err, 50 lbs.
Here in Bahrain, Feb 14th is the anniversary of the riots and such. The name of the biggest group of problem children is "The February 14th Youth Group". So there are dozens of tire fires today, a few IED's, and general chaos outside, all before 10AM. We are staying IN!
Anyway, Homework to do, people to see. Trips to book.

Enojy Naples and the wonderful food over there! Besides of pizza, buffalo mozzarella and babà(pastries), they have an amazing cake you wont find anywhere else. It's called "torta caprese" (cake from Capri, one of the islands next to Naples). In my opinion, that's the best cake I ever had. Anyway, there's a lot to see there, in order to avoid the food! Capri is a wonderful island, Ischia too. And there's the Roman city of Pompei, to see how was life 2000 years ago... Have fun!!

Ahhh, definitely stay in and avoid all that mess!! Italy sounds awesome though! As you say, do your best, enjoy the time, and reboot when you get home!

Thanks Guys, I was there a year and a half ago, right before beginning my journey "this time", lol. I came back from there a few lbs heavier. I did get to see Pompei with my family, and a few days in Rome. It was awesome! I will try that cake Lizzie! Thanks for the tip! I have lots of friends there that have worked there for 10-20 years. They speak Italian like a Neopolitan so well that the Romans even hate them, as an American, and a Neopolitan!

Italy!!! Just stick with the fish/chicken and meat dishes and away from the pasta/bread and you will be fine. Good luck and have a great time!
