It’s ok to be tired, but it’s depression that makes you feel so damn weary and like nothing will ever get better again. Depression lies to you and makes you feel hopeless, but things can—and will—get better. Please call your doctor. Depression is a chemical imbalance in your brain; it’s a true medical issue. If we were talking about Diabetes or Cancer you’d never be expected to get better without medical treatment. And I’m speaking from years of experience. So please reach out to your doctor and/or a crisis helpline. I really care about you, and truly want only the best for your life. 🥺😔💜

As someone who has had depression for years I can say this sounds like depression talking to me. Yes suicide is easy; living is hard! I make a list of pros and cons when I feel like this. The pros usually have a longer list but it’s superficial. The cons of ending it all include things like my kids. Seeing that in print makes me remember why I’ve fought so hard to be alive today. Maybe it would do the same for you? I highly recommend finding a counselor. It’s great to just let it all out every so often and get another perspective. Insurance will usually cover some or al of the expense. As mentioned below, depression can be a chemical imbalance. It can also be caused by situations or a hormonal imbalance. Mine got worse before I lost weight. Some was the situation, some was hormones (surgical menopause). Please find a friend, counselor or psychiatrist to talk to. You’ve got this just keep fighting and know that it will get better and you’ll be glad you pushed through this depressive phase!

I recommend church - you are always welcome - everyone has problems issues etc - it is how we deal with them - I have an inner peace from faith and I feel I can deal with anything with Gods help , relying on friends also - this site deals with food help but church deals with heart and soul help - surround yourself with good role models and really , I know you are a good role model in your own way - write down one positive experience each day or one great meeting with a friend - in a years time that is 365 writings - if you have issues , first you have to let friends family know what they are - let them work on it with you - your friendships and family bond will grow - we grow more and learn more when we are having issues because we learn more about ourselves - Hang in there - if you haven’t heard it today , you are loved and you have a purpose and you are wonderful - look in the mirror and say it everyday - you can change tomorrow but not yesterday - YOU CAN DO IT AND YOU ARE DIING IT

I really hope you feel better. For me, sometimes I have to remember to not say "why is this happening to me" but instead look for the lesson in the situation that is supposed to help me grow. Turn the situation into "this is just growing pains". Stay focused on the people who care about you and who would be so heartbroken if they could not talk to you anymore, especially anyone who is young (nieces, nephews, kids in your life). Replay happy conversations through your mind. And of course, reach out to a counselor. They are best source of recourse if you need it.

There is never a reason to take your own life. I’ve been there. In the deepest black well you could be in. I was 24, my marriage fell apart, same day I lost my job, my ex took all the money out of the bank. I was flat broke living in my car. To proud to ask friends or family for help. Just when I thought to end it, God smiled upon me. The house I choose to park in front of turned out to be a family who owned a business. The husband came outside told me To move my car. I explained I was out of gas and homeless. He listened to me and told me to come inside. His wife fed me and showed me the guess room. He gave me job at his factory, advanced me salary, found me a place to stay. I worked for them 10 years when he sold his business and retired to Fla. so no matter how dark things get someone will help you. There are still good people out there. I know there hard to find but I certain there’s an guardian angel looking out for you as well.

You are loved and infinitely valuable. Please don't be afraid to reach out to someone, whether a friend, family member, counselor, clergy, or even the national helpline (800-273-8255) to talk. People do care and they will be happy to listen and support you. Many folks are praying for and thinking of you.

Yes i felt the same way. For a very long time. Luckily, I realized the amazing power I had over my life. I walked away from it all, everything. Started over with nothing. Only what was good eventually followed me. Twelve years later, I can’t imagine who that person was that felt there was no other choice but the worst choice of all.
