I see I've been MIA here...Let's see..what's up with me? Hummm...well, I've been working to keep my garden weed free and watered. Hasn't rained here for at least 2 weeks and it's been 85+ with TONS of sun. Let's just say I'm a raisin from being out there in the elements...LOL! But I'm lovin' it! The kids activities have slowed for this week a bit. WHEW!! Let's just say my gas guzzling SUV is 'resting' for a bit :O)! We got our son (he was 16 on June 28th) a car but he still needs to pass his road test to get his license...he said I should drive "his" car to save gas...at least until he passes his test...HA! I had to laugh...SO nice of him LOL!!!
Our 4th was really nice...at a bunch of picnic's...parades and we went camping for the weekend with my family. It was a super time! I LOVE ANY holiday! And lets just say I make the most of them!
We're planning some yard 're-do's' here...it's been 17 years so let's just say we've removed old bushes and trimmed up and fixed up a ton of things...tomorrow is purchase shrubs day...Looking forward to going with my sweets (tha'd be my Hubby :o)!!) and spending some time with JUST him! Haven't had much us time lately and we need to fix that!
This weekend I get to go with my softball girls for the weekend and play in a tournament...I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to sball tourney's! Let's use the Vegas saying...of "happens at ball stays at ball" and we'll leave it at that...heehee...I'll give ya an update next week (IF I survive...ha!) They are some CRAZIEDLY WICK FUN girls I hang wit...funfun...and dangerous too...HA!
