I think I mastered breakfast. I'm not big on savory food in the morning so I had to find a way to eat sweet without overdoing it. I was eating berries on top of FAGE plain greek yogurt and topped with 1/4 cup chopped walnuts. I thought the caloric content was a bit high though and I'd prefer to eat nuts later in the day as a small snack.
2/3 cup of blackberries, 2/3 cup strawberry halves, topped with 1/3 serving of chobani vanilla chocolate chunk...this is a huge bowl of food and chimes in at 179 calories, which I think is decent for breakfast. It's not perfect and I think I should be reducing my carbs...but at least for now I'm not setting the bar really high for the rest of the day. All I needed was to be satisfied in the morning and less worried about every bite that followed breakfast.
