Keeping track of what foods you eat really DOES open your eyes...

Being a mom to an almost one-month old, I still haven't regained the energy to cook and clean and do everything I used to when it was just me and my two-year old at home. Fortunately, my loving husband tries to cook (grill) for us when he can. Today, he put some hamburger patties on the grill so we could have some of his yummy Bullseye BBQ Sauce-licked hamburgers. I didn't think it would be so bad to have one. Well, after I logged all of the ingredients we used (toppings and all), I was shocked to find how many calories were on just ONE patty alone (400+!!!). That's not even including the buns and toppings! Holy cow! I'm going to have to be more careful about what I eat.

Oh well...ya live, ya learn. I'm really glad I was introduced to this website because it seems to have a lot of neat applications that I can use to help keep on track.
