Today is my middle son's 23rd Birthday! Having a big party for him tomorrow - to celebrate his Assoc.'s Degree, and admittance to the state's firefighter academy!!! (I'm so proud of him...)

Everything else in my world is progressing. And it feels good. Back into a gym routine. Mom care. Household stuff. Garden. Yardwork. Etc...and it all feels good.

My husband is taking me on a "date night" tomorrow after the party. He thought I would be tired from all the day's activities, and he thought taking me out would be a much deserved rest to have someone else wait on me!!! (how sweet). I'll take it! I'm thinking lobster at the beach! One of my favorite summer night activities!!

I do kinda feel like a 'school girl' trying to decide what I want to wear, and just anticipating some alone time with him...makes me smile. God has done miracles in my marriage - repeatedly - and I am still passionately in love with the same man after 20something years!!! That makes me smile too!

Got a lot to do today - but I think if I get a chance i might go get my nails done and a pedicure. maybe after I go sweat my butt off at the gym this morning... big smile!!
