I'm pretty much the same plans myself. Soon get rid of any gains in January.

Hopefully I manage to stick to just having a slap up Christmas dinner and the rest of the time being sensible. I’m not really into alcohol thankfully. But it’s my birthday five days after Christmas. I want to have a treat for it but I think it’s too close to the previous Christmas treat so might wait a week or two.

I usually try and drop 7lbs before my birthday/Christmas and then I don't have to think about diet. Then I do dry January to re-set.
However, this year I haven't managed the pre Christmas weight drop so I plan not to have much chocolate or crisps this year.

White wine I'm a pain for it. I want to bulk cook meals but freezers are full with xmas food so I need to be stricter I normally gain 7 to 10lb from xmas eve to new years day from booze choc but get it off before end of January it's a bad cycle haha yeah must be hard having birthdays at christmas

Can I be rude and ask or guess where you are from?

Annmarie, you are a good few years younger than me but sound like we have similar Christmas issues! But I can confirm that as long as those pesky extra pounds are off before the end of January all will be well. Being aware is half the battle!

I’ve emailed the Jack Daniels distillery, warning them to work double shifts! I suppose I might leave room for a slither off turkey but I wouldn’t bet on it! Nae beer though 😊

2 stone is lots! well done. I have a mat, 1 set of dumbells and a set of ankle weights for emergencies (not getting to the pool/gym) I use these and some body weight exercises and do an efficient wee workout in the house. It's not the same but its better than nothing!
You feel the cold more the slimmer you are. One of the few drawbacks of losing weight.
