In comparison to how much I have lost on phase 1 in the past, to how much I have lost this week, I am a little frustrated. Only 2 lbs so far this week, when I can usually lost about 7 or 8 on phase one the first week. I was looking at my foods, my calories are pretty low, but my fat grams are a little high. And I know I am not eating near enough vegetables. I just haven't had the appetite for any really. But I need to work on that. I think I will go down to the farmers market and load up on veggies today. Thought about moving on to phase 2 after this weekend, seeing how this is not my first time on phase 1 by far. I will think it over this weekend and see what the scale is doing by then and how I feel about it. I think tonight I will let my hubby grill me a good steak and I will fix a bunch of veggies and a big salad! Sounds good to me!!

I feel you sister I been trying so hard and nothing!! Just got doing my phase 1 workout and thinking about what I am I am gonna have for breakfast. I made grilled veggie skewers the other night with steak sooo yummy !!

One of my fav ways to get in the veggies, is to grill them along w/the steak!! =D Grilled zucchini, peppers, mushrooms, onions, (kabobs can be helpful, or just cut in large slices,) sprinkle w/some seasoning salt, pepper and YUM! Something about grilling them, and then I like to serve them w/some balsamic dressing to dip in, too! I also have been making some great omelets and I put fresh spinach, broccoli or peppers n mushrooms inside along w/some cheese for a breakfast. :) Slicing red/yellow/orange peppers to have on hand to snack is very helpful, along with slicing up some cucumbers and sitting in rice vinegar, for a cool refreshing snack out of the fridge. :) You can do it! You're doing GREAT!

Good luck, Graciepoo-- the phase 1 stuff is always a challenge, especially when you have expectations from earlier attempts. Your body is different now, it makes sense that your loss during phase 1 redux would be different too. I have the same struggles. Grilled veggies are great. We grill zucchini, mushrooms, yellow peppers, and onions-- have with steak or chicken or grilled salmon (yummy, but a bit high in fat). Stick with it, girl!
