My last journal entry was Jan 15 of last year. Time flies. But glad to be on here to reflect where I am now. Both my dad and dog passed away. And was happy to see that I did not get into binge/comfort eating. Weight has come down a bit. Success! Beginning of year I was gymming quite a bit and the scale didn't budge. Guess what? I thought I was eating clean. But treat here and treat there added up. I did experiment with Keto after September. I didn't go to gym much and was happily surprised with weight coming down without much effort. By December i was on a modified keto. Basically i really was conscious about carbs and sugars but not trying to consume as much fat as they prescribe. Here I am in January. I still use the concepts of keto, but I'm working out three times a week and feel pretty good. I see the stretchy skin revealing and I"m like man I use to be big. My goal this year is to keep losing as much weight as I can. Not to get discouraged of plateau's and to ensure I'm not feeling deprived.
