Are you eating “only the soup” or is the soup just part of your daily intake?

Hi. The soup is part of my daily. I start the morning with a high protein breakfast. Noon would be the soup and a salad and dinner would be soup and salad or buckwheat porridge. I try to keep all meals under 500 cals. and my daily just under 1500 cals. I just have to increase my activity big time to burn off more cals than I take in. I've started walking but its a struggle to do this at 4 or 5 degrees below zero and windy. Patience is a virtue. I'll figure it out yet.

I’m right there with you! It’s way too cold here to be outside!!!

I used to do Mall walking after my babies were born. Twenty times around my Mall (before the stores open), was 15 kilometres. A lot of people recovering from heart/stroke participated as well. It was excellent. But you walk briskly, and every 2 laps I'd stroll for a bit, then pick up my pace again. My kids are almost grown now, and I hate that I have to work to miss out on this fun activity. Check your larger malls, it was a mall-walkers group.

Buckwheat porridge for dinner? That is very unusual. How did you decide on that? Do you put berries and walnuts in it? That used to be a favourite of mine for breakfast.

Hi Aurora. My eating style, diet sounds negative to me, is unusual. I am very fortunate to be able to eat anything at anytime, IE: curried lentil soup for breakfast.(306 g for 85 cals). I try to have a good, high protein breakfast and then my next meals around 300 to 400 cals with a balance of protein and fibre as a goal.As for the buckwheat,it edges out oatmeal in nutrition and I just put stevia and 2% milk with it. I usually have a small bowl of fruit about 1 hour before going to bed. Seems to be working. I sure hope you will be successful in your venture.
