Do you weigh everything you eat?

Yep I have a digital scale and the good old measuring cups 🤷🏻‍♀️

I use the scale in grams for everything. Also try not to eat back any of the treadmill burnt calories, those numbers can be a bit inaccurate. 👍🏻

I normally don’t eat back anything...I think my body just like the weight lol

Have you spoken to your doctor about any of this? They may be able to help. Especially if you've been accurately tracking and still have nothing to show. Hang in there, you can do this!

If you work out, most of the weight is probably muscle. That’s a good thing!

Whocares? I do. There may be a few thigs in play so don't lose heart. If you've just restarted this journey then be aware that the first few days or week that you'll shed water weight quickly. That makes us all feel good, but the body seems to panic because of our reduction of calories so it becomes stuborn in letting them go. Here is something you need to keep in mind. Don't cut to drastically because that will jack with your metabolism. However, as you lose weight you need to cut more calories as you drop weight. Add this to the mix--If you are working out most likely there is (as mentioned above) a weight exchange going on, muscle for fat---which is a very good thing. I'm currently in that phase and it jacks with my head, so I use three things to keep myself sane. I use a body chart and a tape measurer and keep track of size; I use a mirror, and I use a scale. Oh yeah and listen to my clothes. If you are truly tracking, eating well, exercising and getting proper rest it will come off--be patient, yet be diligent in evaluating what you are actually doing verses what you think you may be doing. last item. Calorie Creep is a real phenomenal and it wrecks more weight loss efforts than just about all things combined. People have a tendency to underestimate how many calories they actually consume, and overestimate how many they burn. I hope some of this rambling has been of some benefit. Cheers.

You might be under eating too. Most don’t want to hear that when you start working out that your gradually need to increase you calories to feed your muscle development. If your under eating you body with start to store the bad fats from the foods you are eating which will cause little to no weight loss. Most women eat less and workout more abs expect that the weight will fall off, and unfortunately your body has an adverse affect to this method over time.

if you don't have high blood pressure, would drinking a couple cups of coffee (with stevia, no creamer) help boost metabolism?

I have no suggestions or advice, only support. I started a plateau the beginning of the week, but I am used to them. I'm healthy and happy and not so focused on the number. if it moves, great. if not, then I will be happy with the weight I am, knowing I am eating well and exercising is good enough for me. 🙂

I didn't check out your profile but are you tracking carbs and fat along with calories? I can only speak for myself but when I tracked my carbs I was shocked. Do you exercise regularly? All those things played a part for me. Keep at it. When I first started it took about 2-3 weeks to see a drop...💜💜
