Better late than never, right? welcome to FS - some pretty cool people on here! I've been on Atkins for 10 months, ok the last few not so much, but have managed to drop 35lbs...started over on induction on the 6th, since I still have ### to lose before daughter's wedding in July. Thanks for the buddy request, and good luck!

Thanks - it's been a little discouraging though because I started induction 10 days ago and not one pound gone! I realize it's going to be harder now that I've passed the 50 mark, but I really expected to see some results at day 10. Will have to be steadfast and patient. Hopefully I will be able to experience the success you've had since I want to lose 40 by September :)

if you're on induction for atkins, the fruits are a no-no,as are nuts - you need to stay between 20 and 25 carbs, with 10-15 of them coming from the allowed veggies - carrots are a little high in the starch, so tomatoes, cukes, cauli, limited onions n mushrooms, that sort of stuff are good to stick to. and water, water water lol - hang in there, you'll do great!!!

Thanks for the input kmkjmomma :) I'm trying to stay as strict as possible during induction, but for health reasons I am doing a nutriblast a few times a week in the morning, so the kale, aragula, supergreens are a must and a few strawberries/blackberries/blueberries are a necessity if they are to taste halfway agreeable :) Try to stay away from the nuts too, but they're always stocked in our office breakroom and if I forget a snack and just can't wait I grab a few to keep me from the chocolates LOL. I really appreciate the encouragement!! Have a fabulous day :)

you enjoy your day, also! yeah, I think the nuts would be preferable to the chocolate (although for me, I'd rather take my chance with the chocolate, since I'm not a nut fan, unless they're peanuts or cashews lol) I did well on my first week back on induction, but this last week for some reason, I'm just holding my own, so I completely understand the frustration!
