It is official!! I'm in ketosis - I actually measured it last night. And I was really bad, too. I didn't eat a thing after about 4pm. That is really not good. Plus I had a few cocktails with some girlfriends. So it was not really a wise move.
Only today and tomorrow to get those recipe reviews in. Come on RUBIPHIRES, lets make some noise. I am making a chicken salad today. There are a couple different versions so I haven't decided which one I will try yet, but I will be posting later.
Have I mentioned yet that I have the best team??? I can't believe how many members of my team are participating in the mini-challenges. Its awesome!! And it really helps to keep me motivated, too! ___________________________
Rough day today on the food front. I came back home today - so I was on the road for five hours. Traveling days are always really difficult for me. Its really hard to eat a meal on the road while doing Atkins! And nearly IMPOSSIBLE to do it and stay under 20 Carbs!! I really wasn't that hungry, but when I left I knew I had to get something to eat because I hadn't eaten in for about six hours. To tell you the truth, that wrap tasted soooo good.
My new favorite snack food in the car are pistachios. BRILLIANT, I tell you! They are impossible to eat quickly and just one serving takes quite a while to eat. ODE TO PISTACHIOS!!!
Breakfast 6 slices of bacon - 0C 2 cups of coffee with h/c - 1C
Lunch 3 bites of chicken salad - 1C turkey provolone wrap with lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo, mustard, black olives - 7C Diet Coke - 1C
Dinner 2 low-carb tortilla pizzas with pizza sauce, pepperoni, onions and mozz cheese - 8C
Snacks 1 serving of pistachios - 9C 1 Atkins bar - 3C
TOTAL CARBS = 30!!! ha! Right at the limit!!
