Just want to throw out an FYI for people on blood pressure medication. I was monitoring my blood pressure for the month of April. the highest my systolic number got was 114. The lowest was 90. The highest my dystolic got was 57. the lowest was 45. my pulse high was 46 and my pulse low 36. well as you can imagine I was extremely tired. Point number one I do not have insurance so clinic visit are not happening. Also impossible now anyway. So I called the clinic to see what to do. after talking to two nurses. they set up a call with my doctor She recommended cutting my pills in half..Great I can do that. I later find out that I will be billed for all calls ☹️. She said when the covid thing settles down I will need to come in for labs to see if I should go off my cholesterol medication. That would be great but again another bill. the good news is that after just two days of cutting my pills in half. my reading was 112/61. with a pulse of 53.

Wow! That’s just scary! In Missouri we have an ask-a-nurse line we can call, for free. You might want to see if you have such a thing in your state. I’m not on blood pressure medication but, when my BP hit 80/30, I ended up in an ambulance. That’s not much lower than yours. Take care!!!

That’s great I take four blood pressure pills! It’s good at home but high in doc office’s. I am always tired!

My usual BP is 98/55. And yeah, it sucks. On especially low dips I eat a teaspoon of salt and drink some caffinated tea. Not saying I'd recommend this at all to anyone but it might help you stay concious for when the paramedics arrive. Good luck! I use goodrx online doctors since I also have no insurance and they're generally cheaper. Sounds like you got it all under control :)
