Y’all, I’m falling off track. It’s kind of hard to recover after a four day weekend. Any tips and tricks to remain consistent with eating healthy when this happens?

I’m pretty new to this forum but not to the weight loss challenge. What helps me get back/stay on track is logging in and weighing in consistently and honestly. It just holds me accountable. If I know that everyone is going to see my weight the next day, I tend to make healthier choices with food and exercise. Good luck, and hang in there!!

Track it. Good bad or ugly don’t let go of keeping the tracking habit.

It is hard to recover. I find pre-planning meals helps a whole lot

Yes I agree with pre-planning because it works best for me even though I fall off track. Here's the key though....you know you fell off track and you want to get back on. I try really hard to remember how I felt after falling of track. Low energy, bloated, headaches, just plain crummy. Good luck on your journey.

One thing that I find helpful, is not being too hard on myself. If I am too hard on myself, weight loss becomes a sad, miserable experience that is hard to push through. You did awesome work last week! This weekend was hard , but we all fall off track sometime, and let's refocus on our goals! Even a little weight loss is a big achievement, because at a healthy weight loss goal, we loose just 1-2 lbs a week! (Although water loss might make it seem different at first). And through a succession of those little weight losses, with a few off track/weight gains, you'll still be on a downward trend to a healthier version of yourself ☺️

Forget about yesterday and start today and keep going. Get a cheap calendar cross off every day you do good forget the past you can always start over ♥️

No Tricks To offer. The TIP is to master portion control and moderation and practice saying NO.

I love the calendar idea! Cross off the days you do well and meet your goals and leave the days you don't empty. Good motivation to strive for as many colored in squares as possible, ideally an entire page crossed out!

Like Natalie said, forget yesterday. It's done and gone. Focus on now. You've got this!

Take one day at a time, and remember consistency reaps the most rewards. Keep the stuff that tempts you out of the house.

Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. I love how I can be transparent on this app and not be judged for it.
