the scales don't really matter - if you are exercising and eating well your body will be happy. Don't be discouraged by the number :)

sometimes you have to have rest days, stress won't make you fat but it can halt your progress. the number on the scale is not the problem it's your mental attitude to it, don't let it eat away at your mental strength. the most important element to weight loss is mental

Please do not be disheartened. I put on 3.6KG!!!!!! (in 1 week between weigh ins) it was just bloat! I knew it was impossible to be a fat gain because 1lb is about 3500 calories and I’d of had to be eating something like 4500 calories + a day to make that kind of gain!
I just waited for my body to settle and weighed and saw the loss that I actually made. If you’re keeping to regime and exercising as Vigo said the scales don’t matter your body will be happy, don’t be discouraged! We support you!

I'm not sure how the calories are calculated but I recalculated mine today as I had lost some weight and the amount dropped by 100 cals. Perhaps this might be why you are not losing. The recalculation tool is in the weight history page.

Thank you all for your kind comments you are a really lovely bunch of people. I will keep plodding on literally and figuratively. I was feeling very proud of myself as I walked 18.9 miles over the last 3 days that didn’t include the 8000 steps curing the grass. So I was just annoyed to see such a gain but I’ll write off today and start again tomorrow.

Drink plenty of water too to flush out the toxins x

Yes gypsy. I did exactly the same thing yesterday and my daily calorie intake dropped by 100 too! Hells bells, people are right, if you are eating healthily within your calories and exercising, then the laws of physics say your weight will go down eventually. Tomorrow is a new day. X

It may also help not to eat anything for a certain time period. In my case I don't eat after 6pm or before 9am the following day (except for special occasions).
Since doing that some two weeks ago I have lost almost 4 pounds at time of writing.
Give it a try for a month and see if it works for you. Doesn't have to be 6pm to 9am - whatever suits you.
Good luck

Hi don’t give up! It’s harder to lose weight than to put on. I lost just 1lb two weeks in a row, then had a ‘whatthehell’ week and ate what I wanted and I put on 5lb!
