So, first of all, I'm not dead (whew - I know y'all were worried). In fact, the workout today gave me new life and renewed sense of hope!
Last week, I had a chat with a nice dude with similar time lifting weights as me about tips and tricks. The difference is he's a recovering fatty (so he's twice my size), he's 20 (so he's half my age and has double my testosterone), and he's Italian (does that need clarification?)... he is just a prime bodybuilding specime that blows my physique away on every level. He's like a chubby Diablo, kinda. Typical "dumb jock", but he's a positive motivator like me, so we hit it off!
Somehow, this meatball thinks I have something to offer - if nothing else, comic relief I guess? Anyhow...
On Tuesdays, we now have plans to make that our mutual chest day, so I will have a spotter/partner for the first time ever, so my game just hopped to the next level 🤘🏻
No more being scared of being crushed by an overloaded barbell, so I can push a bit harder. The guy bench presses what I squat, so I hope I can muster enough adrenaline should the need arise to save his neck though - literally lol. 🏋️♂️
A great day of yard work and mounting tool racks, shop lights, and pegboards in the garage to get organized on top of the awesome workout this morning! 😊

Steel sharpens Steel Chris! Congratulations on the lifting partner deal! If I wasn’t a road warrior 4-5 days a week I’d join a gym and spring for a trainer my first 30 days. Was thinking at least some people talk to each other while at gyms or? 😜 Rock on Chris 🏋️♀️🏋️♀️🏋️♀️

I'd take cologne over B.O. any day. I love a good smelling man at the gym. Or anywhere. Fresh pits and cleanliness are like 😍 for me. Instead there are 3 people at PF last week and someone was already stinking it up.

You smell better than anyone I have ever met, dear!😍 Just to be clear. But I think I have a very strong sense of smell in general so it makes me appreciate it more.

That's why your stuff lasts so long. Only for church on Sunday or our quarterly date nights. I am a daily perfume wearer. Sorry Chris- was this your post? haha. That old man in the morning wears old spice and walks in a circle doing curls with the 12# weights. I havent seen him since reopening though.

I also have a strong sense of smell, but I am the opposite. BO doesn’t bother me, but I don’t like the smell of cologne/perfume. My husband loves cologne and has a big collection of different scents, which I can’t really tolerate, so his stuff lasts forever too.

Lol newname. Diablo isn't big into Cologne but smells amazing. Men's deodorant these days 😍 and he also uses men's lotion so while saying he doesn't wear Cologne at the gym (which I get) he still smells heavenly. I don't think I could be with someone who tried to smell "natural". Ugh. I know those types. Hubby's friend Isaac. 🤮

Haha I get it! It’s great when a man has good hygiene and doesn’t let himself get too funky on purpose. 😂 We have a friend like that too.. can’t be in the same car with him for too long. 😵
