You can do it! I'm seventy pounds lighter than my highest weight. It may take some time - but where will you be otherwise in a six months, ten months or a year. Next time someone offers you a doughnut, pie, cake, candy, etc. PASS. (Except maybe if it's a holiday or birthday celebration). Those aren't daily foods unless you want to get fat and sick. The biggest lame excuse is "I can't afford Atkins." Lean meats and canned or frozen vegetables are cheap - but the people I talk to just don't want to give up their goodies. You're on the right path here - so keep up the good work - you can do it!!!!! I did it even with arthritis - so there wasn't lots of exercise - and wicked allergies too this past spring that are revved up now too. I'll join a gym once they're (the allergies) are under control as finally the arthritis is no longer agonizing. Best wishes - go for it. The key to solving a problem is realizing you've got one. The best thing for me was having an old friend calling a spade a spade and telling me years ago I was fat and I was, even though I still thought I was thin. Now I know I am as I'm at my ideal body weight... :)
