I woke up to a swarm of ants in my kitchen. Here in the desert, they often go inside looking for water.
Super okay.
Totally handled.
At least the a.c. is working and I did a workout first thing this morning and yoga on the back porch.
I have a lot going on this week and the stupid heat and a.c. unit issues derailed everything.
Still okay.
Still totally handled.
We're doing salads all week and I added a vegan protein/ collagen shake to my daily repertoire.
At least it's the 18th. The month is almost over. And I haven't killed anyone yet.
Yay for small victories.

I'm also not selling memberships to a cult. (You can just join. Nobody needs to bring money into this.)
I also don't actually eat people. I heard they taste bad and I'm probably already allergic.
Besides. I don't even know how I'd add those calories up.

Erq and GibJig - I used rubbing alcohol, white vinegar, and, tea tree essential oil to kill the ants and destroy their scent trails. I should probably go out and do the cayenne as a deterrent.

Powdered sugar:borax (3:1 ratio) will also help destroy nests. Just make sure it's kid & pet proof.☠️🐜👸

I can't do the borax/ sugar thing because we're basically a wildlife preserve. We're not actually, but there are a ton of wild / wildish animals that we take care of or have rehabbed so we can't take the risk. Thank you so much for the suggestion, sk!
