So, I’m recommitting to healthier ways. I’ll be darned if I come out of this COVID-19 isolation with nothing more than 15 extra lbs and some new unhealthy coping mechanisms. In July I started an interval training program to eventually work up to running a 5K. On the off days, I do walking and Yoga to stay limber and relax the mind. I started feeling better and sleeping better, now my food cravings are more in check. I’m going to track my food to keep myself more accountable. Not certain how I’m going to do when school starts back up remotely for my boys, it tends to stress me out and I’m an emotional eater. I’ll just try to keep up with the exercise, since it helps reduce stress. Fingers crossed!
