OK, last weekend was a setback for me. Christmas indiscretions and boom I was up two pounds. I am trying to help those around me lose. Congrats to Janice, lost 8 lbs on Lipotonix. Poor BJ is without scales this week and has "Momma's home cooking" Beth that works for me has lost 70. Ironically she was a VEGAN and couldn't lose on that diet. I talk to people everyday who want to lose and many are, but this time of year is a true challenge because 1) such great food 2) depression which is at times comforted by food 3) BOOZE = empty calories 4) Eating is a social expression.

I started runnning last week and completed one entire MILE! Have challenged my staff and colleagues to run the RockNRoll 1/2 Marathon in Savannah on 11/5/11. Will drop a few more pounds and pick up a few more miles and then I will be on the right track!

Thanks for the Buddy Request. Don't sweat the Christmas indiscretions, it only comes once a year, and looks like you have a great job so far. I am trying to watch what I am eating....but refuse to totally deprive myself when I am hosting the party..:) Anyway, a New Year is around the corner, and plenty of time to practice diligence and determination.
