Thanks fat secret for letting me know that at this rate it will take 25 months to get to my goal! Of course the weight loss slowed down . . .. . if I could lose 20 pounds every two weeks, I'd be done by now! Or even 25 pounds every two months! The thing is that I haven't had a potato chip or a cheese curl in quite some time now .. . . I feel like it should be going better . . . . .

On a different note: I am going skiing. Will I be able to balance on skis? Will my ski pants fit? Will I be able to close my jacket? There was a time when I was uber fit, so what happened? And the scary thing is I don't see myself as "the fat person." I sort of see myself the way I used to be. People's comments and attitudes sometimes hurts. They don't understand the chain of events that leads to things happening in someone's life. . . .

I'm sitting here enjoying the view and the sunshine, finished my coffee and to tell you the truth I had a chocolate covered pretzel to go with it!

It may be a little slow going, but it's still going. You are doing fine. Public boards can be hard. You can't tell intonation or anything from what people write. I posted something one time and it upset the person. I didn't think I was being mean or negative at all. She had her hopes on losing a big amount each week (don't we all) and I told her it's good to keep realistic expectations so that we don't get disappointed and quit. I think she ended up quitting eventually. No matter what, you are doing great. Enjoy your pretzel and holidays!
