The day before yesterday I got into a pair of jeans that are just a little too tight for me. To be precise, I could get into them, but I wouldn't be able to tuck a shirt into them. That means I couldn't wear them to work (plus they'd make my waist bulge out and be uncomfortable to sit in. They represent my goal. I should be able to fit into them comfortably within six weeks (I hope), if I keep up the current rate of weight loss and maintain my discipline. They're the largest size made by L.L. Bean. If I can get into them, I'll be back to where I was in my early thirties. That's something to which to look forward.
