First day of school. Felt like I should dress up in new clothes..:) It went well so far - have two more classes later this afternoon, then work tonight. My undergraduate degree was in political science and this communication stuff is WAY different. I'm used to doing a lot research - class time was ALL lecture. Now I actually have stuff due in class every week! That's just crazy to me. It will take some getting used to. Not to mention that I've been out of school for a very long time.

It is SOOOOO cold here today. The actual temperature is -9 right now. So its real fun getting to class.

Which brings me to my mini-celebration of the day - My long underwear fit!!! It may sound funny - but they are only a large. I got them for Christmas and I thought, "there is no way I can fit into a large. I need at least a 2x." Well, they fit. And they aren't even a plus size. Okay, they're a little tight, but I can get them on and I'm not dying in them. Another 5-10lbs and they will be perfect.

Woke up with my hands a little swollen. Probably retaining a little water from the bacon yesterday. It should be better after a lot of water today.

1 cup of ceasar salad with chicken = 3C

4 olives = 1C

3 slices of pepperoni = 0C

handful of peanuts = 3C

TOTAL = 18C

I thought I'd go over, the way I was snacking today!!! I'm so happy to see that end number!!
