I just found one too at a second hand book store. I look forward to trying some of the new recipes! This one is called the Low Carb Bible. 

That's it - that is the book I have - it was discounted for about $7 and was hardcover.  

That is an awesome price for it being new! Let me know how the food turns out for you and I will do that same for you. Ok? 

My favorite low carb cookbook author is Dana Carpender. Her books are informative, funny, and full of great recipies that work for all phases of Atkins. You can occasionally find one on the bargain book shelf at Borders or Barnes & Noble. Her coleslaw recipie gets me raves every time I make it! 

Yes bevmacd - let me know good recipes out of the book. I live alone and don't spend much time cooking extras as in my twin sister's house there are five adults and four kids (two are babies). The cover of the book was sort of worn a bit but for the price I bought it and just threw the cover out - but the book was new so you're right the price was awesome - but once I even saw the Atkins book an old edition at a dollar store - hardcover - believe it or not about two or three years ago and it was NEW! I didn't need it because I had it! Thanks slease for the Dana Carpender recommendation - be sure to share recipes. Now I have some to share on challenges and to put on the site perhaps in my spare time. (Many have sugar ? and are still low carb - for glazes and stuff on meats - I guess that could be optional...). :)

I like the Dana Carpender cookbooks too. I have four of them which I bought on Amazon for really decent prices. They sell new and used.
