I really need a go to snack. You know, something like potato chips or chocolate truffles, not lettuce with lemon squeezed on it. If I have any more lettuce or tea I will explode.

Green beans also have a low calorie value. Quinoa can be good with veggies mixed into it.

LOL LOL LOL---rice cakes, pop corn (not the butter fattening kind), fat-free mini pretzels? LOL LOL LOL. Yeah, my snack is 2 stalks of celery cut up in as many pieces as I can get them at 3:00 every day! LOL.

I have 8 almonds or 3 walnuts every day; today I had avocado with one of my salads; I also had french beans . . . . I haven't mastered how to make quinoa taste good yet . . . . my problem is, once veggies are cooked they are smelly and easily get mushy, unless you add a lot of oil; i kind of like them better raw but it's easy to get sick of them . . . .

My 3 pm snack has been cucumbers with lots of salt; crunchy and salty, but yeah I'm getting tired of those too!

This is the dressing we drizzle on lettuce ... have to give credit to Susan Voisin, the Fat Free Vegan: Balsamic-Raisin Vinaigrette - Fat-Free You can make this dressing sweeter by using apple or white grape juice instead of water. Or add a little spiciness by mixing in a tablespoon of spicy mustard. Or add creaminess by blending in a teaspoon of tahini or a tablespoon of raw cashews. Ingredients • 1/2 cup white balsamic vinegar • 1/2 cup water • 1/4 cup golden raisins (see note below) • 1 large clove garlic • 1 teaspoon basil • 1 teaspoon oregano • 2 tablespoons Meyer lemon juice or 1 tablespoon regular lemon juice • 2 teaspoons Chia seeds • 1 teaspoon mellow white miso or salt to taste Instructions 1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and process on high speed until liquified. Pour into a storage container and refrigerate until thickened slightly. Stir or shake well before using.

Thanks One! Ok that might add some interest to my lettuce! If only Susan could come cook for me! I am so overwhelmed with stuff right now, but I think I can try this! Can you also post your pizza recipe?

my new 'go to' snack is wasabi peas .....low fat and carbs (1.5 Fat and 9.50 carb)... I eat the specfied 1/4 cup .. I never eat from bag ~lol~ .. I have a little tupperware container to bring with me.. and eat one by one and they last enough time to satisfy that need for crunch and taste :)
