I do it for 24 hours. It can be VERY difficult - but I'm used to it. Do it with a doctor's approval only if you have unerlying health issues, are very overweight etc. I might start one morning and go until the next morning. The day you do it don't expect to have much energy to do much of anything the latter part of the day. My mind gets clearer. You may want to incorporate crackers or other light snack foods into your particular fast to give you more energy. There are many types of fasts - Google them on the Internet. Take your vitamins of course. And do it with a doctor's approval only of course.
